This is the place for you if you prefer your frozen yogurt tart rather than sweet. The tart list has 32 options and the flavors are divided accordingly.
Yumilicious, one of the frozen yogurt shops with roots in Dallas, has received praise for its modern and inventive approaches to frozen yogurt from the publishers like Dallas Observer, and D Magazine.
Self-serve is available, and the menu is more varied, with items like yogurt cakes, tapioca bubble teas, and smoothies. Yumilicious has a lot of Mexican-inspired flavors such as mango habanero, and avocado, drawing inspiration from their southern neighbors.
16 Handles
Solomon Choi, a Korean-American, launched the first location in 2008 to great acclaim in the East Village. The top frozen yogurt counter in New York continues to be 16 Handles.
True to its name, 16 Handles serves a variety of baked goods, toppings, and sauces in addition to a rotating menu of 16 flavors. There are options for handcrafted soft-serve ice cream, no sugar-added sorbets, non-fat sorbets, and vegan yogurts.
